- Sexton & Ella in Charity Auction: "Hi, I'm Robin, and this November I will be running the ING New York City Marathon in aid of The Prostate Cancer Charity (registered charity 1005541). By running the event (and several more in 2009) I am hoping to raise a HUGE amount of money for this amazing charity. A lot of my fundraising is achieved through the auction of signed memorabilia donated to my cause by celebrities and public figures around the world so it isn't unusual to see signed items ranging from the cast of Eastenders to Us Presidential hopefuls (and everything in between) on my auction lists.
"This week will see a whole new run of auctions, including two pieces of artwork created by Sexton Ming and Ella Guru for my fundraising. 'Conquest Mouse' (Sexton) and 'Punch Up Swans' (Ella) will both be available on auction in the next couple of days. Do pop by my official fundraising website http://robincharityfundraising.bravejournal.com to get some more information on my fundraising (past, present and future), and to see what other amazing items are available for sale.
" I would like to take this chance to thank both Ella and Sexton for taking the time to help my fundraising out and for tolerating my endless stream of emails. I look forward to seeing you over on my site! Cheers, Robin"

My work in Leiden Gallery -
Spring 2008
"U Bevindt Zich Hier" at the
RAP
gallery. Mine is on the left and relates to my visit
to Leiden last year and the discovery that my ancestors
had lived there before emigrating to the Colonies
in 1620. Thanks to Sonja
van Kerkhoff for telling me about the show and
helping me enter! Sonja's work is the deep frame in
the middle and her husband Sen's is the shrub with
the engraving below. The theme of the show was the
map of Leiden. Click on the image below to see my
collage piece. The frame (not pictured) belonged to
an uncle and had a green mount. The bike trip 2007
